Darn You Red Bull...

It is currently 12:47--no wait 48--as I type. I've just gotten back from seeing "he's just not that into you", which was an okay movie, but I am definitely too tired to go into a movie review you everyone. I'll just say that it was better than expected, but I'm probably not going to buy it. FUN FACT: I cannot spell definitely. I misspell it every time I try and type/write/imagine it in my head/or any other possible time.. I don't know why... but ya, thought you should know that.

Ummm... so I was kind of falling asleep at dinner (went to a sports bar for some food with my friends before the movie, watched the hockey game... game was bad, conversation was awesome), so right before we left to head to the theater I downed a Red Bull. Which was awesome because I was awake for the movie. But now My body says "I'm tired, lets sleep" and my brain is all..."But I want to sing and write piano songs and figure out how to play It's Friday, I'm in Love (the Cure) and 4th of July (Stephen Kellogg & the Sixers) on the piano!"

So I have decided to go to bed and hopefully will still feel inspired tomorrow.

it's just laziness really

...that's the only excuse I have for not posting for 2 days. Forgive me? ^-^

Today I worked, and it was lovely. Well, it would have been if my computer hadn't chosen today to die. I had quite a lot of work to do and was genuinely happy to have actual work to do without asking any of the partners if they needed help. So I did my work without a computer, and then copied it when someone left and I could use their machine.

I drove home, ate food, and drove back to town (I say town, 'cause it's really not a city, but in Maine, Bangor really is a city to us) for tennis. Had a lovely time with my team for a couple hours. I hadn't played in months and just started going again a couple weeks ago. I'm happy to report that my serve has reappeared (if only for a brief and shining moment) which makes me happy, because I quite like my serve when my toss is cooperating (which it rarely does).

I've just finished watching The Office with the parents (it wasn't as funny as Sunday, but seriously, Sunday was exceptionally funny) and caught up of my YouTube subscriptions.

Off to bed early tonight!!

Monday Monday...

Helloooooooooo (spoken in true Seinfeld fan-ness)

Today I sat on my bed, looked at YouTube, and Facebook, and did homework, and ate a grilled cheese sandwich. It was a great day. I literally was in bed all day, except for the half hour it took to shower and get ready for school, and 3 hours where i drove to school, had class, and then drove back. I love being home alone, no one judges me for doing all of my school work while in my pajamas and wrapped up in a blanket (which is the best way btw).

I made my SLS video... it's not my best, but I had just woken up when I filmed it only because I needed the rest of the day to procrastinate about my homework that was due at five pm. Here is a link :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAAu2mtwYjw

I also had a dorkus moment when I realized that when you enter a link into twitter now it automatically makes it a tinyurl--which is awesome.

On my way home I considered buying a bottle of wine since I have a feeling that tomorrow is going to be one of those days... but was lazy again and didn't feel like going into the supermarket for only a bottle of alcohol and sweedish fish. People look at you strange when you do that.

Ok, so I will chat with you later... most likely tomorrow :)

drumrool please...

So... since I have been neglecting writing in my blog, well... since I decided to start writing one to be truthful. But I've decided to fix that :)

In true copy-cat form (I vlogged daily in November, mostly because Peesemould's daily vlog project was pretty much the awesomest thing ever), I've decided write every day and let you know all the crazy, amazing, (well probably boring, but you never know...) stuff that i'm doing.

Okay, so I'll start today as the homeworkage is kind of boring :)

1. Slept in until 11
2. Went snowshoeing
3. Watched a lot of episodes of 'How I Met Your Mother'
4. Read & did homework for my theory class
5. Chinese for dinner
6. Tried to do homework.. but edited and uploaded a new video instead :)

...as Saturdays go it was pretty awesome <3

blahh

Ah you can probably tell by the title.. I am feeling very... blahh today. I wish I could find another word to articulate this feeling.. but blahh is perfect.

It's snowing really bad outside, and I really want to get out of this house, but it's not going to happen. So, since there are people here and I can't record any cover songs, or my SLS video.... I may just have to watch TV in my room and be boring and depressed.

so ya, this post really has no point, expect to say that my parents are boring and I really want to have people over, but I live in east bum... and no one could come anyway since we're having the blizzard of the century this weekend.

Anyway, how you are all having glorious days with tons of sunshine and happiness <3 ttfn <3 JJ

10 January 2009

Yay Reading!

So..I've recently had some free time and am finishing up the last John Green book (of course I read them in reverse order...). I've been in college for almost 5 years now, and hadn't realized how much I missed reading. So I am setting a goal of reading 20 books this year (definitely not 50 like some people...I still have grad school to finish and it's a complete time suck, let me tell you).

So, here are some that I am making myself read (or re-read as the Tolkien books go), as I have been either told that I need to (Austen), or want to remember every little detail and get re-obsessed with like I used to be (LOTR), but the rest is undecided. Comment with suggestions!!! I may not read these in order...but I will read them :)

1. Looking For Alaska -John Green
2. The Hobbit
3. 4. 5. LOTR Trilogy
6. - 11. Jane Austen's Novels...

So I guess 12-20 are up for discussion... :)
